Enjoy a trip across the Churchill Barriers and spend a while at The Orkney Fossil and Heritage Centre – there’s something for everyone

Please do come and see us in 2021. Unfortunately we will be closed in 2020 due to the Covid 19 Lockdown Restrictions.

If you fancy a bit of fresh air we have sandy beaches, quiet roads, splendid scenery and wildlife aplenty. And close by you can also visit The Italian Chapel, St Margarets Hope and the Neolithic tombs of South Ronaldsay.

“ Excellent trip through geological time. Very well thought out set of displays covering the geology of the orkney islands. Super examples of fossils and minerals from around the world with sensibly priced gift shop offering the enthusiast a wide range of books, fossils and other items. Staff also most welcoming and attentive. ” ~ Trip Advisor Reviewer
